No. Your vault is encrypted on the phone with a key derived from your master password, and we never receive that password or key. What we can’t promise: if your master password is weak and our database were stolen, an attacker could guess it offline. Use a long passphrase.
Use your Recovery Kit, the 25-character code shown once at sign-up. There is no reset email, because we hold nothing that could open your vault. If you lose both the master password and the Recovery Kit, the vault cannot be recovered.
Nothing is deleted and nothing becomes unreadable. You keep full access to read, search, edit, export and restore what you saved. You can’t add items beyond 10, and the Premium features switch off until you resubscribe.
No. Without an account, your data stays only on the phone, and it is lost if you uninstall the app or lose the phone. The encrypted backup, free on every plan, needs an account.
Yes. Your vault is on your iPhone, on tripass.com.au and in the Chrome extension, and a change on any of them reaches the others automatically, encrypted all the way. An account is used on one iPhone at a time: signing in on a new iPhone signs the old one out after its changes are saved.
On your phone. If you have an account, the account record and any encrypted backup are kept in Google Cloud through Firebase, encrypted so we cannot read your vault. The Privacy Policy has the details.
With an account: your email, a salt, a verifier and a sign-in credential derived from your master password, plus your encrypted vault if you back it up. Anonymous usage analytics and crash reports are on by default and each has its own off switch in Settings. Neither ever contains vault contents. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
No. It is a separate free tool: a web checker, an installable web app, and an Outlook add-in. It runs in your browser and never uploads email content unless you choose to send us a report. See the Scanner page for what it catches and what it misses.
No. There has been no third-party security audit yet, and we hold no certifications. The Security page lists the design in detail so you can judge it yourself.
